The Fork Disaster

Oh my gosh i was mortified when this happened. I happened to have the mayor and his wife, along with other guests for dinner, and I had served meat. The mayor was cutting the meat with his fork when his fork broke, in half. I was absolutely mortified, because although it was April fools day, this was no joke. We actually had forks like those,not real silver that would break, and I had accidentally put those out instead of the real one. However the mayor was laughing and they got over it but I was so embarrassed
